I love history.  I love immersing myself in the lives of the people who came before us.  Presidential biographies can cover so much of the big things that people are dealing with and if you are lucky you’ll get a glimpse of the little problems that everyday people deal with as well.

I’ve read certain presidential biographies in the past, but an old college friend of mine recently passed away suddenly from cancer and I found out that one of his goals was to read a biography of every US President.  He didn’t make it, so I’ve decided to take up the goal and catalog the experience here.

I’ve tried writing up my thoughts after each book, but I didn’t manage to do that for some of the books I’ve read earlier, and some reports will be better and more complete than others.
